SLIP Registry surpasses 750 patients enrolled!
The SCFE Longitudinal International Prospective (SLIP) Registry has reached a major milestone, surpassing 750 enrolled patients worldwide.
Each patient recruitment milestone marks a step forward, as the SLIP Registry works to improve the treatment and management of slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) through international collaboration and research.
The SLIP Registry is a comprehensive, prospective initiative designed to collect long-term data on children with SCFE. By working with centers across 10 countries and 6 continents, the registry aims to identify best practices and establish standardized treatment strategies that optimize clinical and functional outcomes for patients.
Dr. Bryn Zomar presents about the SLIP Registry at the Hippy Lab Open House, 2024.
This milestone reflects the dedication of the global research community in advancing the understanding of SCFE. With continued collaboration, the SLIP Registry is poised to provide invaluable insights that will shape the future of care for children with SCFE.
A heartfelt thank you to all participating centers and contributors for making this progress possible!
